I didn’t like the way the Q&A responses were integrated into the rest of the app:
🟢 You can easily find this feature when searching
🛑 Chat-only seems like the wrong UI. I’d rather have search results + generated answers with more detailed results. See Why the Chat UI?
🛑 The bottom-right widget seems like an inconvenient format that doesn’t match how I want to use this. See Chat Widget
🟡 The UI is overall clean and high quality (as usual with Notion) but there some minor design choices I’d revisit. They are marked with 🟡 throughout.
🟢 The quality of the answers is solid
🟢 The re-indexing is fast.

🟡 “Introducing” calls more attention to itself than “Notion AI with Q&A” because of the colors. I’d pick a stronger violet.
🟡 The answer calls more attention to itself than the question, which makes it hard to tell what it is going on the first time you read it. I would place the question on top of the answer so that regular reading pattern applies.
🔴 The name for this feature is Q&A but then I never see that again in the UI. It is either Search or “Ask Notion AI”. I’d be more consistent about that. “Ask Notion AI” is a fine name for this intro and the feature elsewhere.
What encourages me to use this? 🟢 The search bar defaults to “Ask AI”
